Capping rubber extrusions have a high EPDM rubber content, making them highly resistant to adverse weather conditions, ozone and general ageing. The rubber also offers effective resistance to fats, oils and hydrocarbons. Protecting exposed edges from wear and tear, the 70° shore rubber edge trims are of an extremely high quality, making them the perfect choice for outdoor applications.

A popular choice in the mining and quarrying industries, capping rubber is used on vibrating screens to cover stringer bars, which protect the screen cloth from wear and tear. As protective buffers, they reduce and prevent damage to the cloth and deck frames – our profiles are particularly suited to this application, thanks to their durable physical properties.

We offer a wide range of generic profiles, proprietary designs and bespoke capping rubbers to cater for every requirement.

When replacing a screen mesh, hard-wearing capping rubber is the key because if the rubber becomes worn, it shortens the lifespan of the screen mesh.
